MJF GROUP started its services in 1982. Our first activities related to tax consultancy and has subsequently progressed to crafting of Business Plans and Strategic Solutions, Financial Management, as well as Business Finance, both local and International.  It has recently opened a Tender Procurement Division. 

We have over 30 years’ experience in starting up and ensuring ongoing professional financial management of businesses in South Africa and Africa North of the Limpopo and more recently in the UK and the USA.

Over a period of time our Client's asked us to offer Business Mentorship and a Support programme to complement what we were already doing.

The Business Mentorship programme is run in conjunction with IIB; an International Association that helps small to medium sized businesses cope with the challenges of running their business. These smaller businesses usually do not have the support of a large qualified staff and this is where IIB and their Business Support program steps in.

The Business was sold to Riverstone Accounting payroll and Statutory Services cc in 2005 and is maintained as a division continuing to provide services to Clients throughout Africa, USA and the UK.

Dr. Michael John Freestone. 

Senior Consulting Manager of MJF GROUP, has over 30 years experience in business planning, implementation, and operations with a wide range of start-ups and ongoing businesses. He has also held numerous senior management positions in finance and accounting, manufacturing and operations, marketing and sales, as well as computer systems design and implementation.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, cum laude with a distinction in Business Finance, from an American University which is internationally accredited. His experience is with small, medium, and large service and manufacturing companies -- in the private and public sectors -- operating in local, national, and international markets.
He is a member of the Institute of Directors (UK) (SA) and is a fully accredited member of the Institute of Independent Businesses (IIB) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Secretaries and Administrators. (ICSA) and The Chartered Institute of Business Management. (CIBM).

Mrs. G. A Freestone.

• Gloria is the Managing Member of RAPSS. She ensures that all divisions are run according to our quality standards. She runs our SARS queries for our Clients.

• Nikki heads up the Outsourced Accounting and Payroll division.

• Tharien heads up the monthly Statutory returns division and is also responsible for ensuring that our Clients are up to date with their annual CIPC returns.
